I would like to thank the Roshan Cultural Heritage Institute and the Near Eastern Languages and Civilization department at the University of Washington (UW) for continually supporting this ongoing project. Thank you to the Walter Chapin Simpson Center at the UW for supporting the video essay aspect of this project, which will be available on Twitch.TV summer 2020. I would also like to thank my PhD program, Interdisciplinary Near and Middle Eastern Studies, for its unwavering support and professionalization. Finally, I dedicate the project to my husband, who brings me coffee and has without a doubt felt the burden of me complaining about my workload.
